Health Books about plastic surgery

What is plastic-surgery?

The principal areas of plastic surgery include two broad fields.
  • Reconstructive surgery, including microsurgery, which focusses on undoing or masking the destructive effects of trauma, surgery or disease. Such surgery may include closing defects by transplantion of tissue from other parts of the body.
  • Cosmetic (or aesthetic) surgery, which most is often done to change features the patient finds unflattering. In a few cases, however, there may be medical reasons (for example, breast reduction when orthopedic problems are present).

Reviews:

A MUST HAVE for med students
I found renal physiology to be difficult to grasp until I read this book. This book is excellent because the clinical cases and examples are easy to follow. You NEED this book for your renal exam and for the boards. I never understood all of the hypertonic hyponatremia, etc. stuff until I read this book. This book is complete yet easy to read. You won't regret this purchase!
Excellent review and explanation of the basics
This is an excellent review that clarifies all of the ideas presented in the first years of medical school. It is very useful in helping to grasp the essentials of basic pathophysiology of the kidney. Straighforward and easy to read with good explanations and useful review problems.
