This book is totally worth getting and keeping and using again and again. The info is quick and to the point. And the questions are generally good. Only problem is that the questions sometimes seem too detail-oriented and less board relevant...judging from what I learned at kaplan...but I still this book is a good investment...in terms of info and presentation

I am taking an Animal Physiology class and it is pretty challenging, so I needed a good review book on the subject and this one fits the bill. From action potentials to cardiac physiology, Costanzo nicely puts every subject in a logical outline form. Easy to navigate and the end of chapter exam questions are really a good primer before an exam. I recommend this book as a supplement to any upper level Physiology course.

Basically the best Physiology book out there. Great graphics and explanations, all the material you'll ever need for the Step 1 and more. Get it with your eyes closed and don't even bother with anything else for this subject.

This is an increible book, I loved the elegant structure and the not overwelming details. It goes right to the point. I'd only add more questions, in fact you can find that questions in a separate book from Ms Constanzo in this same BRS.
Recommended.

This book is very useful for classroom study and for the Boards. This is a must have.
