Health Books about impotence

What is impotence?

Penile erection is managed by two different mechanisms. The first one is the reflex erection, which is achieved by directly touching the penile shaft and the second is the psychogenic erection, which is achieved by erotic stimuli. The first one uses the peripheral nerves and the lower parts of the spinal cord, whereas the second one uses the limbic system of the brain. In both conditions an intact neurologic system is required for a successful and complete erection. Stimulation of penile shaft by the nervous system gives rise to the secretion of nitric oxide (NO), which causes the relaxation of smooth muscles of corpora cavernosa (the main erectile tissue of penis), subsequently giving rise to penile erection. Additionally, adequate levels of testosterone (produced by the testes) and an intact pituitary gland are required for the development of a healthy male erectile system. As can be understood from the mechanisms of a normal erection, impotence may develop due to hormonal deficiency, disorders of the neurologic system, lack of adequate penile blood supply or psychological problems.

Perfect Balance
This is the most current and complete book available on the topic of maintaining or regaining sexual health, taking a balanced approach to a serious subject. It uses appropriate and tasteful humor to disarm nervousness and embarassment most men and their partners experience when dealing with sexual issues.
What's so funny Dr. Jones?
This book is funny and shocking. Both are quite inappropriate for the topic of impotence. I think that the author overdis the humor and jargon to the point to ask myself is the book really written by a M.D.

Then when I read that he discusses as options penile injections and surgery it was clear for me that Dr. Jones has NO intentions to provide the best advice to his readers. Both ways are well known for years to lead to serious complications such as ugly deformations of the penile shaft and infections. I personally did not find anything more than in-depth presentation of what to expect once being in the office of an urologist and a brief overview of different treatments.

After all, he does NOT tell you new or different treatment than Viagra? This book has very little practical use and a few recommendations for potentially damaging procedures which cause more harm then help the men who undergo them.
Great Book: Helps you get back your erection
I am a fifth year graduate student at Columbia University. I was born with small, deformed genitals and suffer from impotence. I cannot sustain a quality erection for more than thirty seconds. I have tried to compensate for this in a variety of different ways, namely acting very macho and boasting about being sexually active with numerous women. But in fact, I am really a small-weenie dweeb that has not truly pleasured any woman in his entire life.

That is why I bought this book. I plan to first maintain a respectable erection. Then I plan to get some phalleoplastic surgery to beef up my little johnson to hopefully 4-5 inches. So far I've been relying a lot on cunnilingus, and my tongue and jaw are getting pretty sore. To all the women I have never pleasured: so sorry. Hopefully I can one day be half the man I try to pretend to be in real life.
